A small note:
Most of us won't be seeing each other when school starts, the next gathering will be in August, which is Rash's wedding, the HIGHLIGHT EVENT OF THE YEAR!! Haha as what we tagged, we'll have food fight, snatch for rendang and all that. So RASHY BOY, be CAREFUL!! Hahaha! I am so evil!! But still have to bless the couple, they look great! Mrs Rash is a very beautiful lady, and be careful of Zhi Zong snatching her away........ Ahhhhh..!!!!

Hey guys , have already booked at table for 22 people at Breeks Cafe , Marina Square this Saturday 8th April at 6:30pm . Please do not be late , weekend's dinner for them is a PEAK period so we should also co-operate with them to come early .
Knowing you people will definitely be late (lol me also) , please meet at 5:30pm earliest at City Hall MRT Control Station . We can catch the 5:45pm , 6:00pm or 6:15pm shuttle bus , depending on what time everybody arrives .

Just a suggestion:
I would suggest to watch the movie at Great World City IMAX Theatre cuz the last time I went, the seats are really spacious and comfy.. (Abbie can also vouch for this) So if you guys wanna watch at Great World City IMAX Theatre, we can eat at Country Manna, Kenny Roger Roasters or Jack's Place.. Not sure if they're halal though..

these are the details of the class outing:

DATE: 2nd or 3rd week of March (3rd week is sch March holidays , might be crowded) actual date not confirmed

ACTIVITY: rollerblade/cycle/play ball
TIME: late morning till evening
HOW TO GET THERE: 401 from Bedok Int (but unfortunately it doesn't operate on weekdays) & bus 11 from my house .
REMARKS: a. dinner together at one of the food places near the upgraded hawker centre/big pond there . dunno nvm , i know where can already . haha .
b. prease take care of your own belongings . bring a pouch that hangs on your waist is good .
c. rental of rollerblades and bicycles are available at ECP ! (duh) but it is advised to bring your own if you own one . or you can borrow from others when they're not using it ! that's if they allow .... :P

IMPORTANT: pretty please tell me the days when you can make it and when you can't , during the 2nd week (6 - 10 march) and 3rd week (13 - 17 march) -- weekends are not included . this is important because then i can arrange a date where the majority can make it . preferably during the 2nd week because 3rd week might get a lil crowded .

It's been quite some time since we went out , so it's time to go out !!! Haha ! We can have another outing before our Poly starts which is in ..... middle april ? I don't really know ? But ya , leave that for another time . Now ...... Taj , Rumi , Yunqi , Dhab and Me have decided to come out with something for the class , like just a day to have fun !! (and exercise abit ?) Aiyah whatever it is I have a notice to make. Our dearest Mr Ng Song Seng wants us to donate our O Level Maths TYS to him and I'll have to tell him who wants to donate by tomorrow (Wednesday 1st Feb 2006). Wah sian sia that day during the CNY school concert he come and approach me ask the 5B 2005 dudes to donate the used Maths TYS books to the needy pupils in school. For this Sat's BBQ, it is going to be "POTLUCK cum BBQ.."
Which means you are advised to at least bring a food item for this sat bbq.Say,some of you might wanna bing along Fried Bee Hoon - tt kind of thing... or mainly yummy desserts...

The Potluck is mainly voluntarily.... If you think you can contribute, then so be it... if you cant, it's oki... no need to force yourself...

FYI,
You need not bring stuffs for the BBQ (eg. raw chicken wings, prawns,Hotdogs etc..)
This will be done by Rumi and her humble associates...

We Are seeking volunteers who are willing to help us in bringing either one of the stuffs noted below:

Well people, we now have 24 people for the trip,
15 Boys and 9 Girls. I've booked 8 triple rooms; comes with Breakfast(2 Days) and Transport.

You guys are required to gimme the downpayment of S$24/- per pax by Thursday!!!
I will be making my way to pay tha agent on the following Monday-31st Oct 2005.

This payment will ensure our hotel accommodation and the trip booklet that will be given to ya...

okay i wanted to type this in the tag-bar but i was afraid there wouldn't be sufficient space..

i prefer the proposal taj got too... but i'm hanging onto mine till monday because.....................

you see.. i'm playing one agency against the other.. i told the travel agent i got about what taj's travel agent proposed..u know... price, bus, accomodation and stuff.. and i was like "is your pakage negotiable reguarding price and all?"
so he told me to hang in there and on monday,tomorrow, when he gets back into the office, he'll give me a new quotation. so now we're gonna see which is better. or which keeps poking their calculators and repeating "best price! best price! come i give you the best price!"

we also have to make it clear to both agents that if insufficient people are going, we'll probably be cancelling the trip.
which is why we need all of you guys to confirm by tomorrow, monday, 10th october 2005. it's like doom's day or sumthin.. heh..

we understand abbie's points and our parents' concerns and all.. so like i said, we coming up with a notification form (which we will use some of the class funds to photocopy) and we're gonna give it to all parents. whether it is you're going or not. just to let them know. it would be best for your parents to sign it in approval and state whether they allow you to go. .. ... iono.. i'm gonna see what taj and dhab have come up with tomorrow..

so yeah.. what we need now's to confirm the number of people going .. and umm... then we'll get the BEST PRICE and collect the money from everyone going.

one more thing .... (i feel like jackie chan's uncle lol)
abbie mentioned she wanted to handle the money.. (greedy hor? *shakes head* =P) if she still wants to... i'm gonna need like one of you big strong hunks ... ok i'm on the phone with taj now..
sotong... about what you said about genting, according to taj, it's apparently not as safe as sunway lagoon.. and it's also more expensive la...the hotel rooms there are also smaller than the ones we can get in KL city.

here are some adjustments to Tajuddin's quotation..

bus will stop at yong peng food court (somewhere around JB) for breakfast
reason:
we will be meeting at about 5.45
bus leaves at 6
therefore, there's practically no time for us or the bus driver to have breakfast before that..

we'll be issuing a notification form to ya'll to show ur parents... it's got the rules and regulations and stuff... just to let your parents know what this about and what will be going on during the trip. also the do-s and don'ts..

hey guys , how's preparation coming along ? hope it's been so far so good :)

i've got some important opinions that i hope yawl will give me your kind attention and patience as i mention my points out .

about the KL trip , i was apparently given a serious and stern NO from my father when i asked if i could go , even when i said with a tour guide . he's really serious about the dangers in KL . i guess many of you don't experience any danger or have heard stories about it , so you're confident of being safe , but i guess wanna remind yawl that we'd be going to a foreign country (not our lovely singapore) and there are some things that might happen while we're there .
we shouldn't have the mentality of having the same safety that we have in singapore while in KL .

i'm not trying to persuade you all to cancel this whole trip of course , in fact it makes my heart jump when i see gen's notes about it . and i would dieeee to go holidaying with you lovely people , but is there anyway that we can accommodate and compromise abit ? if i'm the only one not allowed to go then i guess you don't have to make changes just for me , but we'll see if other parents disagree with this trip as well , okay ?

erm okay sorry for being kinda wordy but i'm expressing this because i'm concern about our safety. i know that zhi zong and edwin says i should tell my parents that my class have macho guys to take care of us (haha so sweet) , but you do know that it's not going to help a lot , right ? ( i'm not denying that they're macho k ! lol)

firstly , we girls cannot put our trust that the guys will be the ones that's gonna be responsible for anything that untoward happens to us
secondly , if they're responsible for us girls , who's gonna be responsible for them boys ? (they might not be able to take care of themselves even)

I realised Multiply is so useful and I'm gonna recommand everyone to it. Why? Because I can actually upload videos! And it's not like the video take up the whole pathetic space but in fact I can store up to 30 MB worth of video size! Everyone go WOO.
So... I added volleyball finals video; the winning score and aftermath, which is the shaking of hands, bowing here and there, and what have you.

Yea that's nice gen. We're like all planning what to do after our Os; prom night, class outings and partayes. Haha, I really can't wait for all that yea ;)

Anyway I edited the 5 Bananas pic! It's up there ^^. Photo courtesy from gen, who sent it to me. (Oh yea it's the best time to rob her, she just got her 7270 :P) It was taken in the Performing Arts Studio the day we practised our dance. Really missed having cheer practice now, come to think of it.

anyway what i wanna say is........ ~~GOOD~~ GREAT JOB GUYS!!! everyone's efforts has showed good results yea, because we made it to the finals! all we need is a lil extra work and we'll rock da whole school on friday. remember, we're not losers, we take what comment people gives us and may the best class wins yea. although we had some misunderstandings and such inbetween, may it bond us closer together oki! and shows that we truly hav some you know, unitedness. haha. last year guys, make it the most memorable one that we will never forget. don't forget to work hard for your Os too. i know, the same goes for myself. just thankfully that the Mid Year's is a lil harder than the O level standard, so that's a lil relief off your shoulder yea. haha. just 1 more week and it's the June holidays. crucial month, not holiday time ok. haha. i think i'll post the holiday assignments here, so that you forgetful guys (and me as well) won't forget. lol.

oh yah, did i mention this? I GOT 1 MARK HIGHER THAN MELVIN FOR SS SBQ! but he scored higher than me overall nonetheless. lol.

Oh yes. Secondary 5B 2005 blog has launched. Hope everyone will pen all the things we did in class down. I'll take some time to decorate this blog so everyone please be patient.
